Daily Bible Verse

The Lord promises mercy and pardon for those who repent.  JER 18:8 says, “If  that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.”  ISA 55:7 says, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” Even though He has said that He will bring evil upon them, He “will repent of the evil” if they turn.  Look at Nineveh.  He sent Jonah to preach for forty days before Nineveh would be overthrown, but they turned from their evil ways and the Lord repented of “the evil that [He] thought to do unto them."

We believe in The Bible to be the inspired Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16) and in God seated on the throne and revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (John 14:18-27; 2 Cor. 13:14)

We believe in the Virgin Birth, The Begotten Sonship and Deity of Jesus Christ and that He was God and Man. (1 Tim. 3:16; Matt. 1:23) and came for the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in Him.(Eph. 2:8-9; Hebr.9:12,22; Rom. 5:11)

We believe in water baptism as an outward expression of one's inner faith and that it's God's plan for every believer to be baptized in water. (Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:38; 10:47-48) And that it is the will of God that each believer be filled with the Holy Spirit and receives a prayer language of speaking in tongues (Acts 1:8, 19:1-6)

We believe that every believer is given the power to live a victorious, overcoming life (1 John 5:4) and will operate the gifts of the Spirit individually and corporately (1 Cor. 12-14)

We believe that divine healing is available through the redemptive work of Christ for every believer (James 5:14, 1 Peter 2:24)

We believe in the table of the Lord, commonly called communion or the Lord's Supper for believers. (1 Cori. 11:28-32)

We believe in eternal life for believers (John 5:24, 3:16) and eternal punishment for unbelievers (Mark 9:43-50; 2 Thess. 1:9; Rev. 20:10-15
